You sang that too, right? When I read the title “Joy to the World, Holiday Diffusing is here,” I’m singing it in my head.
Ah! Scents of the season. I am not for the holiday decorations and merchandise going up around Halloween.
IT IS WRONG!
But, I do love the holiday season. It fills me up with happiness and hope and all things merry.
I will admit, I start diffusing holiday scents in my house the moment November hits.
So, hello November.
One thing that I struggle with Every. Single. Holiday. Season. Is: Tension.
I said it—Tension.
To be specific holiday tension or maybe you call it holiday stress. Whatever you call it, I find that it creeps in when least expected.
It used to be much worse before essential oils came into my life, and became a lifestyle.
So, one of my favorite ways to melt away that incoming holiday strain is Young Living’s Christmas Spirit.
I start diffusing this early November and I diffuse it for Thanksgiving, straight through Christmas and into the new year. It is one of my absolute favorite blends.
Christmas Spirit is a blend that combines Orange, Cinnamon Bark, and Spruce to create a warm, spicy, and sweet scent that evokes calmness and happiness.
The first time I smelled Christmas Spirit—it was love at first smell. 😉
Now, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t say that diffusing is the healthiest way to get that Christmas/holiday cheer into your house without synthetics. Diffusing essential oils in your home is a safer, non-toxic way to enjoy amazing scents in your home (plus some cool benefits too – like uplifting your mood, supporting your immune system, helping with motivation and focus, purifying the air, etc.)
Throw out those air fresheners and plug-ins. I repeat, throw them out. This is the way to go. Trust me.
Here are some amazing holiday diffuser recipes to get you excited to enter the season (and maybe help you reach for the wine a little less often.)
If you want to mix up these holiday blends with amazing fall scents (I mean, since we are in November) go here and grab some fall diffuser blends too.
