I’m going to make this post simple because, seriously, the holidays are upon us! When I was a kid it felt like the holidays would never come.  I was always not-so-patiently awaiting Christmas day.  Now being a mom, I don’t know where in the world the time goes.  I see that it is the end of November, and that means I have three shorts weeks to Fit. It. All. In.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the holiday season, but, man, it flies by when you’re an adult!!!!! I want to do all the fun things — holiday gatherings, cookie making, decorating, card making, Christmas movie watching with my kiddos, a blanket, and hot cocoa, and even the not-so-fun things, which to me are, the present shopping and wrapping. That’s why the holiday calendars are so packed and hectic.

It all comes down to T.I.M.E.

With that said, I picked a few products that I would love to get for Christmas.  So, if you have a mom, sister or daughter, and you aren’t quite sure what to pick up for their stocking…you have come to the right place.

Let’s jump right to it!

Satin Facial Scrub | This scrub is everything to me.  I tend to have skin that can sometimes be texturally uneven, but I can’t exfoliate all the time because it irritates my skin.  Enter the Satin Facial Scrub in Mint. It is a water-based exfoliant that contains jojoba oil, mango butter, MSM (MSM – (Meththysulfonylmethane) is necessary for both collagen and keratin.  It helps keep the skin smooth and youthful.  It is known as a building block for collagen and connective tissues, which makes it an excellent ingredient and approach to anti-aging skincare.  It is basically sulfur from plants, or that’s me really simplifying the ingredient down to understand), aloe, and Peppermint essential oil to minimize the appearance of pores and invigorate dull skin. This is my favorite exfoliator of all time.

Savvy Minerals Lip-Gloss | I am not huge on wearing lip gloss, so when I bought this to try (I have the color Maven), I was unsure.  Now, I reach for it all the time.  I really need to pick up another color too.  This lip gloss provides a natural-looking sheer to medium color coverage while adding shine. It tastes and smells like Peppermint essential oil which I love. It applies flawlessly without the sticky feeling of many lip glosses. This lip gloss moisturizes and softens lips, while making them look fuller for a high-shine pout that completes your look. I sometimes put this lip gloss over my Savvy Minerals Lipstick (I have almost all the lipstick colors so if you aren’t a lip gloss girl, then check the lipsticks out!) This lip gloss formula is not tested on animals, and is made with all natural ingredients, so you can feel good about what you are putting on your lips. It’s formulated without parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, bismuth, talc, synthetic fragrances, or synthetic colorants.

Monat “The Champ” Conditioning Dry Shampoo | This is my favorite dry shampoo!  Here is why.  I have tried so many natural dry shampoos, but many of them I had to squeeze and a poof of air and powder came out.  I have dark hair and the even distribution of this type of dry shampoo delivery fell short and many of them they harmed more than they helped.  (Cue me sitting there looking like Cruella Deville and wanting to scream.) Monat’s dry shampoo is botanically-based and natural too, but it has a spray top!  I need that even distribution—it is everything to me in a dry shampoo. Here is a post I wrote about the whole line of products.  It smells great too!  Believe me, if you are gifting this to a mom—she will thank you!

Sienna Bryon Bay Nail Polish | I wrote a post the other week on this nail polish here.  I like the consistency, wear and the shininess of this polish.  Being that it is 7-free of the top chemicals put in nail polish, I was unsure—because others I tried in this category seemed to be lumpy, bumpy and chip immediately.  I like how this nail polish holds up. Note: These polishes are not 100% clean, because nail polish is always going to have paint-like ingredients, but in moderation they are the best I have tried to date. You can buy them through the site listed above or you can buy them in the states at The Organic Bunny Shop.  (This is where I bought the ones I have).

Art Intensive Moisturizer | When fall hits here on the East Coast, my skin that has looked hydrated and fine all spring and summer, takes a hit.  The dry air from pumping heat through the house seems to pull every ounce of moisture out of my skin.  It is a drag, but this moisturizer has been helping me through the tough spots that I have had.  It is very hydrating and makes my skin feel smooth and more pliable. It is made from naturally derived ingredients and nourishes the skin with pracaxi seed oil, and blue bird hibiscus leaf extract to help promote even skin tone.  Of course, it also is essential oil infused with Cedarwood, Frankincense, Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, and Ylang Ylang (all great skincare oils).  It has a light floral scent and has been my favorite night-time moisturizer the past year.

I, also, must admit that the Satin Facial Scrub, Savvy Mineral Lip Glosses and Lipsticks, and the Art Intensive Moisturizer I have never had to buy myself.  The deal is that I am a Young Living member on Essential Rewards, which is their monthly wellness box that you customize yourself.  I earn points each month when my Essential Rewards box gets shipped to my doorstep, so I hoard all my points and usually do a huge skincare/make-up haul and add in anything else I want to try.

It is a crazy good deal, because Young Living pays you in points for your purchases that can go toward merchandise.  You can’t find that in any of the other big-name, chain stores.  The most I have seen back is 5% when you use their credit card, while Young Living offers 10% up to the 3 months, 20% up to 24 months and 25% 25 months and beyond back to you when you are in the program.

All the products listed above I have used for over 6 months and love.  I am sure they will be a hit in any beauty lover’s stocking.  Especially, those who are intentional and conscious about what they put on and in their bodies.  They are the best green glam products to fill your loved one’s stocking with, because you are sharing the gift of wellness with them.

If you are interested in essential rewards—start here — everyone starts with a premium starter kit that has 11 of the most used oils and a free diffuser (you can jump on Essential Rewards at that time), or feel free to e-mail me your essential oils questions by clicking on the “Oils” tab on the top menu bar, and filling out the form on the right of your screen. I will be in touch with you shortly after.

Also, a quick point.  When you start your oil journey with me, you will never be alone.  You buy a kit, join a community of like-minded people (who mostly likely will become friends), and start loving a lifestyle.  You will become part of our private educational groups on Facebook to ask questions, see how others are using oils, get ideas for how you want to use your oils through recipes that are always shared, and have a million resources at your fingertips.  And, that is on top of my mentoring.  My mission and journey is to help people—become part of this amazing community with me!
